Install the Digital eXpress Download Application!
If you are using a Windows Operating system you will want to install the Digital eXpress Download Application. If you are not, skip to step 3.

Begin Downloading!
Digital eXpress has tens of thousands of digital downloads to choose from. To make it easy to locate the perfect digital products for your layout, everything is organized by theme based sets. The sets can be narrowed down by Theme, Designer and Date.
To begin looking for downloads select "Digital Sets" under Site Links on the left side of the page, or Click Here to get started.

What is Digital eXpress?
Digital eXpress is a digital scrapbookers dream. Digital eXpress offers tens of
thousands of digital scrapbooking products for you to download and use in the creation
of your digital layouts. You can browse through available downloads by layout examples
or individual pieces. You can choose to
download all pieces/templates in a set or
just the pieces you need to complete your layout. This provides more flexibility
than other sites because you choose only the pieces you want instead of having
to purchase an entire set.
Our Download Manager handles the process of downloading and categorizing the products
you choose on your local computer. All of your new downloads are organized by set
and can be browsed and searched just like the products on our website. Unlike a
lot of new digital applications that only allow you access to your digital products
online, with Digital eXpress you download the digital artwork directly to your computer
where you can use these products over and over again without having to maintain
a Digital eXpress membership.

Browsing by Theme Based Sets
The Digital Sets View is a great way to find products that you are interested in.
In this view you will see a double page layout for each set. Visit the Digital Sets
page.

The templates view is a great way to browse through the available downloads by viewing
completed layouts of the products that match the conditions of your search. Once
you find a layout you like you can select it to view all of the associated products.
When you mouse over a thumbnail image a larger view will slide out. Below are a
few example layouts that you would find in the templates view. Click on the icons
to learn more about them or click here to view all available
templates.

The products view is a good way to find that certain piece to finish a layout. If
you are looking for the perfect ribbon, pattern paper, or embellishment you might
want to use the products view. Here are a few example products that you would find
in the products view. When you mouse over a thumbnail a larger view will slide out.
Click on the icons to learn more about them or click
here to view all available products.

Search for Pieces and Templates
You can search for pieces and templates by submitting a search term in the search
field at the top right of Digital eXpress. Digital eXpress will return all of the
available products that match your search criteria. If you see something that you
like you can click on it to go to the details page.

Using Categories
There are several categories that can be used to quickly narrow the displayed products
down to only the categories and themes you are looking for. The available options
are Themes, Product Designer, Layout Designer, Style and Date.
If you are looking for products that have a certain theme such as Halloween , you
can use the Themes toolbar to filter the pieces or templates to only show Halloween
themes. There are many combinations of categories you can select to narrow your
search results down to exactly what you are looking for. Look for the blue menu
bar just above the product listing on the products
or templates page.

Downloading Products
Next to each available product you will see several icons . To see what each icon
does simply place your mouse over the icon and you will see a description of that
buttons function. To begin downloading simply select the down arrow button .

Create a Scrapbook Page
Once you have selected scrapbook software it is time to create a page. Basically
what you do is create a work space (or new file) in your scrapbook software. Then
drag and drop pattern paper, elements, and your photos onto that space. Finally
organize all the pieces on your workspace to achieve the artistic look you want.

Share Your Work
Now that you have created a digital scrapbook page you will want to share your hard
work with others. Some of the options you have include print at home, photo networking
sites, and blogging.

Print at Home
One way to share your work is to print it. Most homes have a color 8.5” X 11” color
printer. To print from your scrapbook software select the fit to page option. This
will scale the page to make it fit. It is preferred print on heavy stock and laminate
it for premium quality. You can get an eight inch photo album from traditional scrapbooking
supply websites to put your pages in.

Photo Networking Sites
A quick and easy way to share your scrapbook pages is to save them as a low 72 DPI
JPEG image. (Look for the option in your scrapbook software.) Once you have saved
the image you can upload it to your account on one of the many sites such as flicker,
picasa, or photobucket. After uploading your pages
you can send your family and friends to your URL and enjoy fun social networking.
